Project Summary: Renovation of a 12,335 sf community facility for seniors. Renovations include converting part of the existing garage into a fitness room, replacing the entire roof, and replacing all exterior doors and windows. The building will receive new roof top mechanical units, ductwork and zoning; new electrical wiring, light fixtures, and panels in select areas; and new plumbing piping and fixtures in select areas. New switchgear. New interior finishes including flooring, ceiling tile, and painting. Site work includes a new concrete patio, planting bed, new arbor structures. No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above requirements as to bond The design team and City of Farmington representatives will review the Contract Documents with Bidders and Subcontractors, and will respond to all contractor and subcontractor questions. A site tour will follow allowing Bidders to inspect the existing site and building, to inform themselves of the existing conditions. Each bidder must inform themselves fully of the conditions relating to the construction of the project. Failure to do so will not relieve a successful bidder of their obligation to furnish all materials and labor necessary to carry out their work and must employ such methods and/or means as will not cause any interruption of, or interference with the work of any other contractor. Question Deadline 10/29/2024 The Bidder shall carefully study and compare the Bidding Documents with each other, and with other work being bid concurrently or presently under construction to the extent that it relates to the Work for which the Bid is submitted, shall examine the site and local conditions, and shall at once report to the Architect errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities discovered.
