The City of McKinney, Texas ("City") is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals ("CSP") to award a contract as herein described to replace and upgrade five (5) HVAC systems. By responding to this invitation, the parties providing Competitive Sealed Proposals (referred to herein as "Respondents") agree to perform in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in this document if the response is selected for contract award, regardless of whether an award is made in whole or part. The work specified in this CSP consists of furnishing all labor, machinery, tools, supplies, equipment, and services necessary to perform this work. The awarded contractor must apply and secure all necessary insurance, bonds, and permits associated with this project. The objective of this CSP is to identify the most efficient and cost-effective solution. B. The City has contracted with Matador Engineering, Inc. ("Engineer") to prepare the HVAC renovation specifications for the HVAC upgrades. D. The City is seeking a General Contractor (GC) to perform construction-related services related to HVAC upgrades, who will work with the Engineer and City staff, and who will propose a Lump Sum Price (LS) for the construction of the Project. E. In seeking a GC, the Owner is looking for a qualified general contractor, with prior experience in the construction and/or installation of HVAC systems, similar to the existing system to ensure the overall quality of the Project.
