Following is a general description of the Project: The demolition and replacement of the metal panels, sheeting, air/ water barrier, column wraps, soffits, metal signage, and downspouts on the O&M facility located at 44771 Loudoun Water Way. Sequencing of Work: Contractor shall coordinate submittal, purchase and procurement of materials with manufacturer. Upon receipt of all materials demolition can begin. Investigative demolition and temporary waterproofing is acceptable. Work to be sequenced to ensure at minimum of (1) main entry point is available for staff to enter and exit at all times, refer to the site utilization plan. Location of Work: 44771 Loudoun Water Way, Ashburn, VA 20147 The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. The demolition of the existing metal panels and accessories to include the wood sofit, column covers, and gutters. 2. Repair and build out of existing walls as needed for installation of new air/water barrier and exterior sheeting. 3. Installation of new metal wall panels, roof coping, gutters, soffits, and column covers, and all associated hardware and sealants. 4. Installation of (2) new Loudoun Water signs and (1) new set of building numbers. Loudoun Water signs to consist of 14" tall x 2" thick letters. Water droplet dimension to be 32" tall by 20" wide. The total size of the sign should be approximately 32" tall by 111" wide. The building numbers shall consist of 8" tall x 1" thick letters. The total size of the building numbers shall be approximately 8" tall x 24" wide. 5. The successful Contractor is responsible for removing the coping, lightening protection and to have the work certified. 6. The successful Contractor shall be responsible for taking their own measurements. 7. The successful Contractor may store their equipment in the designated staging area (dumpsters included) and they are solely responsible for any of their equipment and/or materials left on site throughout the project. 8. The schedule shall be determined upon the Notice of Award with the successful Contractor. 9. Water will be supplied by Loudoun Water, but any other necessary utilities are the responsibility of the successful Contractor.
