Site work for a water / sewer project in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
For work to be constructed under the provisions of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction by the Illinois Department of Transportation, current edition. The proposed work is officially known as Huntington Boulevard Water Main Replacement Project. The proposed improvements include the installation of approximately 2,800 feet of 18" HDPE water main by directional drill, valves and hydrants, restoration and traffic control. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals contained in the "Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions". The Village of Hoffman Estates strongly encourages minority firms and women's business enterprises to apply. If subcontracts are to be let, the primary contractor shall take these same affirmative steps to solicit bids from minority and women's firms. The Village of Hoffman Estates reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any informality in bidding and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to it, all in BLRS Special Provision for Contract Proposals contained in the "Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions".
