Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

UNC Greensboro is seeking letters of interest from qualified professionals for the project entitled, Campus Chilled Water Infrastructure and Equipment Improvements Phase II. The scope of the project is to address the remaining chilled water infrastructure needs identified in our 2020 campus master plan that were unable to be addressed as part of an ongoing Phase 01. This includes: the replacement of a 750-ton chiller with a new 1500-ton chiller and supporting infrastructure and extending the campus chilled water loop to Tower Village, a student residential complex. The aging chiller needs replacement, and the new chiller and associated equipment is to provide reliable chilled water production for the next 20-25 years. The potential to implement additional equipment to add needed capacity to the plant will also be addressed as part of this project.
