The project includes a new, roughly 30,000 SF Admissions and Advancement Building for Virginia State University. The building consists of a number of assembly-type spaces set within the greater office building. the project site includes the immediate pedestrian and park spaces adjacent to the building as well as a satellite parking lot. The Contractor shall supply materials, labor, tools, plant, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and other services and facilities necessary to complete the construction of the described facilities, including, but not limited to, incidental work described in the Contract Documents The Type IIB structure has a mixed occupancy classification of Business (Group B) and Assembly (restricted). The structure will be fully protected by a NFPA 13 system. 2. Interior work includes but is not limited to Architectural, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical work as described in the Drawing Set. 3. Exterior work includes but is not limited to Architectural, Electrical, Landscape, and Civil work as described in the Drawing Set in the following areas: a. Adjacent to building. b.
