Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Longueuil, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a swimming pool; swimming pool; and for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field.
Reconstruction of the open-air swimming pool Gendron located in Joseph-William-Gendron city park and renovation of the swimming pool pavilion. The scope of work includes renovations of the 125 m2 pool building, demolition and reconstruction of the main and paddling pools, installation of pool service equipment, reconstruction of the concrete walkway. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is underway. Working drawings are expected to begin in late 2026. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling design of the project will be completed in spring 2026, a tender for the general contractor will follow. Note. The project is included in the owner's three-year capital expenditure program 2026-2028. The total amount planned for construction of this project with all related work is as high as $16,030,000.
