All sealed quote packets shall be endorsed with the title "Pathways Maintenance Project". All sealed quote packets shall be filed in the office of the Clerk Treasurer on or before the date and time stated in this notice, and no quote received after that time will be accepted. The successful quoter or quoters shall be required to comply with all statutes of the State of Indiana with reference to the employment of labor, and shall further agree to save the city harmless from any liability occasioned by its negligence or violation of the statutes of the State of Indiana. All work shall be guaranteed for a period of (1) year from the date of completion. The Clerk will not accept any late filing regardless of reason, including delays in the mail or delivery. No quote shall be withdrawn after the quote opening date without the consent of the City for a period of thirty days. No quoter may withdraw his proposal within a period of thirty days (30) following the date set for receiving proposals. No verbal agreement, understanding or conversation with any agent or employee of the City, either before or after the execution of the contract, shall affect or modify any of the terms or obligations of the contract as set out in the contract document. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to accept any and all proposals, and to waive any informality in the quoting.
