Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

1. Asphalt pavement, sidewalks, and other asphalt pavement indicated. 2. Aggregate base course. 3. Single course bituminous concrete paving. 4. Double course bituminous concrete paving. Provide Labor and Materials to: Asphalt 1. parking lot including all entrance driveways and asphalt surrounding the entrances of the building - To be measured by contractor 2. Perform milling of a maximum of 4" thick surface course and replacing it with 2.5" binder asphalt and 1.5" surface asphalt. 3. Contractor to remove existing asphalt and haul away. 4. Add CA-6 stone as needed to provide proper pitch and drainage. 5. Match existing parking lot layout with striping. 6. Contractor to ensure that slopes exist to maintain proper drainage pattern. 7. Move parking stops as needed to perform work and put them back in place when work is completed. 8. Remove damaged parking stops and add 26 parking stops. 1. 20 parking stops on east side of parking lot along apartments 2. 6 parking stops on west side of parking lot along the school 9. Contractor to move Storage container out of parking lot prior to starting work and return upon completion 10. Contractor to field verify dimensions and specifics of all Including if single or double course bituminous concrete paving is required before placing bid. 11. Not responsible for contractor errors as a result of non-field verification. 12. Materials and installation must comply with CPS Standards and Specifications as listed on 1. 32 12 16 ASPHALT PAVING 2. 31 23 23 ACCEPTANCE OF BACKFILL, TOPSOIL & CU STRUCTURAL SOIL 13. Secure job site overnight if work is not completed in one day. 14. If building or CPS properties are damaged during construction, replace and/or repair as necessary. 15. All questions/requests must be received 2 business days, prior to bid closing. 16. All work shall be coordinated with the Board authorized representative to complete in an agreed upon timeframe. 17. Clean the surrounding area and make sure all is swept of debris and excess mortar. 18. All trash must be removed offsite by vendor and area left clean 19. Contractor to follow all codes and secure necessary permits 1) Concrete 1. Excavate and remove debris at proper depth for new stone and concrete 2. Pour new 8" thick heavy-duty concrete in area according to drawing and specifications provided. 3. See concrete drawing below. 4. Concrete under compactor and dumpsters to remain.
