Furnish and install new components for (1) Vertical Platform Lift in accordance with elevator code. 1) Perform Inspection. 2) Decommission, disassemble, & remove existing lift components. 3) Furnish and install lift as stated: -Emergency stop/alarm buzzer -Hands-free ADA telephone system w/stainless steel -Cab platform wall height 42-1/2" Baked enamel steel/cab finish All controls, both landings, keyed -All call buttons standard -All CPS Standards and Custom Requirements including: -5WL SS Cab only -Tower and rest is to be painted optional color Dark Grey PS311A13 -5WL kick plate on lower door and upper gate -5WL on some inserts - see marked drawings -Stainless Steel Handrail - Label the Handrail on drawings on plan viewHall Calls to be labeled #2 on top and #1 on bottom (instead of 1 & 2 as standard) -5WL lower panel opposite side of tower/laminate glass above - Mixed inserts -Aluminum Checker plate Floor 4) Provide 5-year Warranty on all parts, labor, and preventative maintenance 5) Cleaning as needed to remove surface dirt and debris. 6) Contractor to secure necessary permits. 7) Contractor to field verify dimensions and specifics of all projects listed above before placing a bid. 8) Not responsible for contractor errors as a result of non-field verification. 9) Materials and installation must comply with CPS Standards and Specifications as listed on a) SECTION 14 42 00 VERTICAL PLATFORM LIFTS 10) Secure job site overnight if work is not completed in one day. 11) If building or CPS properties are damaged during construction, contractor to replace and/or repair as necessary. 12) Provide necessary labor and materials to fix/correct issues preventing any or all of the projects to be marked as completed. 13) All work shall be coordinated with the Board authorized representatives to complete in an agreed upon time frame. 14) Contractor is to remove and dispose of materials torn out and any construction debris. 15) All trash must be removed off-site by the contractor. 16) Clean the surrounding area and make sure all is swept of debris. 17) All questions/requests must be received two (2) business days prior to bid closing.
