The State University of New York at Oneonta is seeking qualifications from design firms/teams for the design and construction administration of a complete IT package update within the Curtis Hall building. The scope of work will include replacing the existing legacy Category 5 voice and data network, both wired and wireless, as well as the legacy CATV plant. The design firms/teams shall be able to show a tenured history of work in Networking and Telecommunications infrastructure in higher educational settings. They shall have an RCDD, in good standing with BICSI, that should produce the T series drawings and CSI Division 27 specifications for this project. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: December 2026 There will be no Pre-Bid Meeting scheduled for this project. The services indicated below shall include, but not be limited to the following: o Manage all aspects of the project including: o Schematic design. o Design documents. o Construction documents. o Estimating. o Submittals. o Contract management. o Construction oversight. o Close out documentation. o Identifying, planning, and overseeing the removal the disposal of asbestos containing material. o Electrical design and oversight of power requirements for IT rooms and the grounding and bonding systems for telecommunications. o Design and oversight of communications infrastructure, cabling, and acceptance testing to support wired and wireless networks, as well as CATV based off the SUNY Oneonta's Campus Standards and Division 27 specifications, as well as in accordance with BICSI and TIAA best practices. o Design and oversight of firestop assembly's and installation. o Patching and painting. 3.4 Program Budget o Proposed Construction Budget: $700,000.00 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
