Renovation of a municipal facility in Weems, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of December 30, 2024, project was awarded to J.C Franklin, Inc, awarded amount is $424,314.86.** The Lancaster County Refuse Center--Infrastructure Improvements project is located at the terminus of White Pine Drive (VSH 788) off of Irvington Road (VSH 200) and is being developed by Lancaster County and generally consists of approximately 1 acre of access and infrastructure improvements to existing facilities and preparation for the installation of future refuse center facilities. The construction shall be in accordance with the July 22, 2024 Lancaster Refuse Center site plan as prepared by Bay Design Group. Bids shall be on the basis indicated in the Bid Form. Bids shall not be submitted by facsimile or email. The Instructions to Bidders/Bid Form with the related plans may be examined on Monday through Friday at the offices of Lancaster County, 8311 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster, VA 22503, and at the office of Bay Design Group, 40 Cross Street, Urbanna, VA 23175 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
