Site work for a water / sewer project in Holmdel, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

**As of December 11, 2024, This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The scope of Work contemplated for the above-named project includes the abandoning and demolition of the existing underground pump station and retrofitting the existing wet well with new submersible pumps. It also includes the installation of a new valve chamber, new piping and valves, replacement of the existing comminutors, electrical controls and various site improvements as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within Two Hundred Thirty (230) Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. Document info : Bidders interested in receiving bid packages electronically will be provided with a link to download the documents after receipt of proper notice and payment of a non-refundable charge of Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) payable to "T&M Associates" to defray the cost thereof. Bidders interested in obtaining hard copies of the documents in person from the office must make an appointment with Patti Sirico. Bidders will be furnished with a hard copy of the Contract Documents upon proper notice and payment of a non-refundable charge of Seventy-five Dollars ($75.00) payable to "T&M Associates" at the offices of T&M Associates to defray the cost thereof. The provided Bid Packet must be completed in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the Project on the outside and must be addressed to BARBARA KOVELESKY, TOWNSHIP PURCHASING AGENT. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "Township of Holmdel" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bond for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by Township of Holmdel in a lawful manner. Please be advised that this Project is being funded through Township of Holmdel. By virtue of Executive Order #34 (1976), vendors currently suspended, debarred or disqualified are excluded from participating on this Project. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the applicable statutory requirements of the Contract Documents and Plans which include all of the following: (i) N.J.A.C. 17:27; (ii) N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.; (iii) Business Registrations (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44); (iv) Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25, et seq.); (v) Public Work Contractor Registration (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48); and (vi) Affirmative Action Requirements (N.J.S.A. 10:5-1, et seq.); and any other legal requirements applicable to this Project. Township of Holmdel intends to award this Project to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder in accordance with applicable law. Township of Holmdel reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made, or Bid Packets will be rejected within thirty (30) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets, during which time the Bid Packets shall be irrevocable and unavailable to withdraw by Bidders, unless otherwise extended in the Contract Documents. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. No oral interpretation and/or clarification of the meaning of the Contract Documents will be made to any Bidder. Any interpretation or clarification requested by a Bidder shall be in writing, addressed to the Engineer. In order to be given consideration, a written request must be received by the Engineer according to the procedures outlined in the Special Provisions. 2.5.2 All interpretations, clarifications and any supplemental instructions issued by the Engineer will be in the form of written Addenda to the Plans or Specifications and will be distributed to all prospective Bidders. All Addenda so issued shall become part of the Specifications and Contract Documents and shall be acknowledged by the Bidder in the Bid Packet. Furnish all labor, equipment and materials required to train the Owner's personnel in the maintenance and operation of the Pumping station asrelated to the pumps, piping, motors, drives, controls, electrical components etc., as herein specified. B. The goal of the training isto provide the Owner's personnel with sufficient information on the theory, operation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of the equipment and systems such that the installation can be efficiently operated and maintained by said personnel upon the completion ofthe training.
