Job Location 95 15th Street, Verplanck, NY Question Acceptance Deadline 10/31/2024 03:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No The work required under this Contract consists of furnishing all supervision, labor and personnel, material, equipment and ancillary support necessary to complete the work described within these specifications. Demolition and disposal of the Residential Structure, Garage and Site Debris located at 95 15 th Street, Verplanck, NY (tax map ID 43.18-1-11). The residential structure and garage, is approximately 550 square feet. The entire structure, porches, entry steps, ramps, foundations, garage, etc... shall be removed and the site levelled. No portion of the foundation shall remain. The site shall be left in a clean condition, any excavation shall be backfilled and levelled with clean material, topsoil, hay and seed. Refer to Technical Specifications for the full scope of work. The structure has been tested for lead and asbestos, see the attached report (Appendix C). Contractor shall provide quote in bid to perform abatement as required after reviewing. Contractor shall confirm initial findings prior to demolition and immediately notify the Town of Cortlandt if there are any discrepancies. If there is a difference in what was initially reported, work shall be halted and the Contract re-evaluated. The Contractor is fully responsible for removal and proper disposal of all waste in accordance with applicable Local, State and Federal codes. A local building permit for the demolition of the structures shall be filed. All fees associated with such shall be waived. Quantities shown herein are for estimating purposes only and may be increased or decreased as directed by the Director of Technical Services. All materials and work shall conform to the Standard Specifications, Construction and Materials, NYS Department of Transportation current let date, with the exception of payment. Exception: THE USE OF RECYCLED MATERIALS SHALL BE PROHIBITED AS PART OF THIS CONTRACT. It is not intended that this description be all inclusive of each and every item required, but rather serve as information illustrating the general scope and nature of work for the convenience of the Bidders. General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Certification/Training - Certified Payroll - Contractors License Required - Insurance Required - License Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 2500 $ -- Each Bidder must furnish, with his Bid, Bid Security in the amount of Two-Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00). This security may be in the form of a certified check payable to the "Town of Cortlandt", a bid bond, or cash. In addition, each Bid must be accompanied by a properly executed non-collusion affidavit. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within forty-five (45) days of the bid opening. This Contract is subject to the prevailing wage determination made by the New York Department of Labor.
