Renovation of a water / sewer project in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Closing Time: 3:00 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/10/28 03:00:00 PM NDT Queen Elizabeth Regional High School, CBS, NL - Sewer Lift Station Work of this Contract comprises general construction of Queen Elizabeth Regional High School Sewer Lift Station, located at 360 Foxtrap Access Road, Conception Bay South, Newfoundland. The existing sewer system for the high school drains to a stand-alone septic system behind the school. The decommissioning of the old system is not part of this project. A new sewer lift station will be built as indicated in the tender drawings, to pump waste uphill to Frank Roberts Jr. High, which in turn is connected to the municipal sewer system. The new system must be tested before disconnecting the old system. During the installation of the force main, traffic control measures must be in place both in the area where the lift station is being installed (hoarding will be required as well) and at the cut across the roadway. Access must be maintained while the school is in operation. A traffic thoroughfare must be in place. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
