RCMP requests the following work: This is a Non-Tenant direct with a D4 priority and an X1 qualifier: Seed funding - To provide needed improvements to the room in order to bring it up to RCMP DSS standards for a Police Equipment Room. Please provide and install the following: The current wall construction of Room 129 in the Yellowknife Detachment is as follows: slab-to-slab. 1. Replace current door with a hollow core metal door (HCM) and steel frame (16 gauge) with anti-spread bracing installed in area of strike bucket and ensure it will accept a 25mm throw dead bolt. Door and frame to be prepared to receive electric lock. hold functions, threshold and door sweep to enhance the door security by making it more difficult for an intruder to manipulate or bypass the door. 2. Electronic key access system. See below for specific configuration. 3.Electrical Wiring and conduit runs as per 2023-07-10 Police Equip Room EACS-IDS Statement of Work, portion for the card access and door electric strike scope. TIMELINE: An RFP for design has been issued by BGIS. Question Acceptance Deadline: Oct 25, 2024 02:00 PM EDT.
