Renovation of a residential development in Kennett, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

All contractors should contact them directly for docs-they only released docs to those who would submit a bid New Bathroom Renovations for One Hundred Ten (110) dwelling units located at Development Sites MO18-002 and MO18-005 for Capital Fund Program Number MO36-P018-501-24 In accordance with Clause 9 of the Instructions to Bidders, all Bids must be accompanied by a negotiable Bid Guarantee in the form of a Certified Check payable to the Kennett Housing Authority or a Satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Bid. The surety company must be authorized to do business in the state where the project is located and must be acceptable to the Government. Failure to submit the Statement of Bidder's Qualification Form, References, HUD Form 5369A, Bid Bond or Other Bid Guarantee, Non-Collusive Affidavit and the Section 3 Business Form shall result in the rejection of the Contractor's Bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond for the full amount of the Contract Price acceptable to the Kennett Housing Authority all in accordance with Clause 10, Assurance of Completion, of the Instructions to Bidders. The Kennett Housing Authority is a Tax Exempt Agency. Sales tax shall not be included in the Con- tractor's Bid. The work to be performed under this Contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1992 as amended. The purpose of Section 3 is to ensure that employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance or HUD assisted projects covered by Section 3, shall to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low and very low income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing and contracting opportunities to businesses owned by or employing low income residents. Successful Bidder will be required to have General Liability and Vehicle Liability Insurance with a combined single limit in the amount of One Million Dollars and Workman's Compensation Insurance according to the Laws of the State of Missouri. Attention is called to the provision for Equal Employment Opportunity and payment of not less than the minimum wages as set forth in the Bid Package. Wage Rates bound in these specifications shall be the Federal/Davis-Bacon/Construction/Residential Wages. State Wage Rates are not applicable, in that any State Wage Rate that exceeds the corresponding Federal Rate is in applicable and shall not be enforced for HUD Assisted Public Housing. The Kennett Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Kennett Housing Authority for a period not to exceed Thirty (30) subsequent days from the date of opening Bids, prior to the awarding of the Contract.
