Renovation of a mixed-use development in Brookfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Brookfield School District is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors to remove and replace the cafeteria floor at the Whisconier Middle School. The Cafeteria Floor is approximately 5,000 square feet and the scope of work includes removal and disposal of existing vinyl composition tile (VCT) and vinyl cove base - the floor is to be moisture mitigated, skimmed and prepped before applying replacement tiles and cove base. Scope of Work o Cafeteria Floor is approximately 5,000 square feet +/- o Remove and dispose of existing vinyl composition tile (VCT) and scrape floor o Remove and dispose of vinyl cove base o Floor to be opened and moisture mitigated with shot blast technique o Apply final moisture mitigating sealer o Skim coat floor level and prep o Replacement Tile Armstrong Standard Excelon, Imperial Texture, 12" x 12" Tile Color to match corridor - possibly 51858 Sandrift White (TBD) Pattern to match existing pattern Armstrong S-515 Adhesive - 285 sqft/gallon Spread Rate o Replacement Cove Base Johnsonite Traditional Vinyl Cove Base, 4" installed Color TBD Tarkett 960 Cove Base Adhesive
