The general items of work include the rehabilitation of existing manholes and sewer infrastructure through two primary methods: Cured-In-Place (CIPP) lining and the removal and replacement of deteriorated sewer pipes. Base Bid For the CIPP lining method, the work will encompass implementing a traffic control plan, conducting pre- and post-lining closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspections, performing point repairs, installing 207 sewer lateral top hat liners, and thoroughly heavy cleaning sewer lines using mechanical and hydraulic methods to remove debris, grease, roots, and other obstructions. The work also includes setting up bypass pumping systems and installing the lining. Specifically, the base bid ofthe project will involve CIPP lining 8,190 feet of 8-inch pipe, 1,895 feet of 12-inch pipe, 3,140 feet of 15-inch pipe, and 1,305 feet of 18-inch pipe. Additionally, twenty-one (21) sewer manholes will also be rehabilitated, and epoxy lined to enhance safety and reduce the risk of collapse. This Section describes the Work necessary for the rehabilitation of various concrete sewer pipeline segments with Cured-ln-Place Pipe (CIPP). The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Specifications and Contract Documents. Additionally, thirty-one (31) more sewer manholes will be rehabilitated and epoxy lined.\The City reserves the right to change materials and quantities specified in the Contract Documents based on conditions encountered in the field.
