Site work for a water / sewer project in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed construction consists of the installation of approximately 1,047 linear feet of 6-inch, 9,062 linear feet of 8-inch, 30 linear feet of 10-inch, and 5,734 linear feet of 12-inch water main via open cut methods, including new hydrants, services, and other miscellaneous items of work. The work also includes the installation of approximately 376 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, including new manholes and connections to existing structures. The contract will include all work necessary to install the water main, install water service lines via directional drilling or open cut methods, reconnect existing water service lines, restore the roadway, and perform all restoration to return the area to its original condition.
