Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Reston, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 80,000-square-foot educational facility; and for the addition of a 27,000-square-foot educational facility.
Scope of work includes Additions ( New administration wing with a new main entrance vestibule, New Library, New extension of classroom wing, two new pre-K classrooms), renovation (existing spaces with new MEP systems), and site improvement (bus loop, Kiss and Ride loop and new outdoor play areas) – 2 story-building, school building will be increased from 80,000 SF to 107,000 SF. As of November 11, 2024, the project is in permitting with Fairfax County. Permit applications indicate the project could be completed in eight phases. An architect has been selected. A Points of Interest to Approved Prequalified Bidders will be available Wednesday, February 5, 2025. Construction is anticipated to begin in Spring 2025.
