Sealed Bids will be received by the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission ("Commission") from Bidders and selecting the following Project for Bidding: Repairs and Resurfacing Eastbound and Westbound Roadways Milepost 59.50 to Milepost 73.95 Lucas and Wood Counties, Ohio Bids are to be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by the Commission. Prevailing Wage Rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements apply to this Project. The Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Goal applicable to this Project is 15%. Failure to certify a commitment to meet the SBE Goal or failure to satisfactorily demonstrate Good Faith Efforts used to attain SBE participation for this project shall be grounds for the Commission to consider the Bid nonresponsive and may cause the Bid to be rejected. Pollution Liability Insurance is required under GC Art. 12.1.3 for this Project. Bids will be received for this Project, which includes the following: Removal by milling of three (3) inches of existing asphalt pavement in the center and right lanes of the mainline, removal by milling of two (2) inches of existing asphalt in the left lane and left and right shoulder, mill and fill of the Sonic Nap Alert Pattern ("SNAPs") in the left shoulder, resurfacing of the pavement and shoulders to the thickness specified in the Drawings, patching of concrete bridge decks and abutment slabs, concrete weatherproofing of bridges, full depth pavement repairs, installation of raised pavement markers and permanent pavement striping and/or other pavement markings, upgrading of guardrail, installation of SNAPs, and temporary traffic control, in both Eastbound and Westbound lanes. All Work is to be performed as per the Plans, Drawings, Specifications, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, and other Contract Documents for this Project.
