SRTS - 8th St Improvements. Sidewalk improvements for Safe Routes to School. This project is funded through an ODOT Grant. Site Directions: Coming into Nehalem from North on Highway 101 - turn LEFT on 7th, turn LEFT on B ST for one block, and you are at 8th, which goes north into the Nehalem School. Coming into Nehalem from South on Highway 101 - at the main intersection of Highway 101 and 7th St to the north, continue north on 7th St. Turn left on B St - go one block, and you will be at 8th St which goes north, into the Nehalem School.. Site Address: 8TH ST Est. Completion Date: April 10, 2025 Pre-Qualification: Yes A pre-bid conference will not be held. The work for this project consists of approximately +/- 380 LF of road re-construction and sidewalk, including safety equipment for the Safe Routes to School work. The work will be accomplished in the Fall of 2024 - Spring of 2025. In general, the elements of work include, but are not limited to: 1. Installation of storm drainage including storm pipe, manholes and catch basins 2. Construction of concrete curb, sidewalk and retaining wall with stainless steel handrail 3.
