Site work for a civil project in Beaumont, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope generally consists of the following 1. Provide a construction schedule to facilitate scheduling of work to be performed by the OWNER and others. The CONTRACTOR will be required to submit for the Engineer's approval, a construction sequence of the phased installation for the proposed work. The OWNER shall reserve the right to make adjustments to the construction sequence to limit the number of service interruptions. 2. Install pipe, valves, and manholes as noted in the drawings and specifications of this contract. The CONTRACTOR is responsible for a. Locating any and all underground utilities prior to construction; b. The proper disposal of all left over materials after the site has been excavated; c. Exercising the newly installed valves and equipment; and d. Correctly backfilling all associated utilities, and proper surface grading, as noted in the drawings and specifications of this contract. The Engineers Opinion of Probable Cost of Construction is $300,000. Question Deadline 11/01/2024 at 5:00 PM CT Questions must be received six (6) days prior to the date of opening Bids, no exceptions. The Contractor will perform the installation of drain pipe, valves, manholes, and associated works in accordance with the details provided in this project manual or as directed by the Engineer.
