Reference Number 0000366131 Job Description: The project includes, but is not limited to the supply and installation of the following: Demolition and Removal Earthwork Site Preparation Protection of Existing Trees Erosion & Sedimentation Control Concrete Curb Ramp (on street ADA parking) Concrete Flatwork Concrete Curb Synthetic Turf Field Plants, Sod, and Soil Preparation Irrigation Renovations This project involves the renovation of Rocky Ridge Park. Improvements include: a new synthetic turf play area, new concrete ADA walkways to park amenities, and irrigation improvements. Award Funding: This project is being supported, in whole or in part by funds from a federal award by the US Department of Treasury American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and must therefore follow all applicable Federal, State and local regulations or restrictions. This solicitation and the resulting contract shall be in accordance with Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, 2 C.F.R. Part 200. The successful Contractor must be registered on the SAM.gov website and will be required to provide their Unique Entity ID number to the City prior to award. Davis Bacon requirements do not apply to this award. Work not specifically called for, but which must be accomplished to construct the work required under this contract, shall be considered as a part of this contract, whether or not specifically detailed. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Federally Funded - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Failure to complete the work as prescribed shall be considered as a Breach of Contract and subject to Liquidated Damages which are $200.00 per day. The Contract Documents require that all work be completed within 120 Consecutive Calendar Days plus 10 Consecutive Calendar Days for Mobilization after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost for this project is from $1,745,000.00 to $1,925,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The City of Aurora reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, and to accept that bid which is considered to be in the best interest of the City.
