Reference Number : 0000366051 MATERIAL 1. Asphalt shall conform with Louisiana Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges, 2006 Edition, Section 1002. Vendor will be required to submit a certificate of conformance with deliveries. 2. Asphalt to be delivered by tank trucks to various projects during the surfacing season of 2025. 3. Tank trucks are to remain on the job until transport load is unloaded and applied to road without a demurrage charge. 4. Measurement shall be converted to gallons at 60 degrees Fahrenheit. 5. Measurement shall be by the gallon of 231 cubic inches and shall be measured in the distributor. 6. Asphalt shall be delivered at specified temperature Bidder agrees, if awarded the subject contract, to protect, defend and hold harmless the Police Jury, its members, agents and employees, from any claims, demands or suits of any nature arising from or in any way connected with injury or damage to person, property, business or reputation, sustained by reason of any of the acts of the Bidder, his agents, employees, successors or assigns, or of anyone from whom Bidder is legally responsible.
