Professional Architectural and Engineering Services for Restroom Renovations and Building Accessibility Improvements at the Hall of Records Annex in the Borough of Freehold This proposal is being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A 19:44A-20.4, et seq. The qualifications statement shall be no more than four (4) typed, single sided 8 1/2 " x 11" sheets in length. Anything in excess of this page limitation will not be read or considered. Resumes of proposed key personnel must be attached to the qualifications statement. Each resume shall be a maximum of two (2) single-sided 8 1/2 " x 11" sheets in length and should highlight education, professional credentials, and work performance on projects similar to that described below. The resume of the proposed project manager, as well as the resume(s) of proposed key technical staff must be included. Also included shall be a listing of work areas which the Consultant would subcontract out to other firms, the names of each subconsultant, summarized on one (1) page, and the resumes of the subconsultant's(s') project manager(s). The intent of this project is to develop schematic drawings through final construction documents for renovations and alterations to the multiple-occupancy Men's and Women's and Unisex Restrooms at the Hall of Records Annex building (Annex). Also included in the scope are accessibility and egress/life safety code compliance reviews, reports, schematic designs and construction documents to correct deficient items for various building elements including the main interior stairs, corridor doors, elevator lobby areas and the exterior fire escape. A Request for Proposals will be issued to selected qualified candidates for the services of an architectural and engineering firm to prepare schematic drawings through final construction documents for renovations, alterations, and improvements as described above. The Consultant shall also provide Construction Administrative Services and Post Construction Administration Services. The Hall of Records Annex is a three-story approximately 15,500 total square foot building. This building is comprised of various County of Monmouth governmental functions including the Division of Engineering and Traffic Safety, Monmouth County Planning Board, Office of Community Development, Monmouth County Historical Commission, Division of Economic Development, Division of Consumer Affairs, Shared Services and Public Information and Tourism. The Annex is fully occupied by County staff and frequented on a daily basis by consultants, state, county and local government officials and the general public; therefore, the goal of this project is to improve the accessible paths throughout the building and modify the restroom facilities for full code and ADA compliance.
