The Kansas Department of Commerce is seeking competitive proposals from qualified design firms to design a series of three sets of architectural and engineering plans for community centers to be built across the state of Kansas. The six sets of drawings will be tailored to fit the needs of small communities (up to 2,500 population), mid-size communities (up to 10,000 population) and larger communities above 10,000 population. The goal of these plans is for communities to choose one of two options available in the category that corresponds to the population size of their town and to then apply for Community Development Block Grant CDBG funding to support a portion of the development of these facilities. Period of Contract: January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2027 Bid Guarantee: No monetary bid guarantee required.
