Carroll County proposes the selected contractor to undertake the following activities along Drain 77 from 18th Street in the City of Carroll to 11th Street (see map): o Clear & remove to surface elevation all trees within the bank of creek(both sides of creek). o Trees / removal limits will be marked by Carroll County. o Remove all fallen or dead trees and/or brush and junk/debris within 30feet of centerline of creek (both sides of creek). o All live trees outside of the bank of the creek shall remain in place unlessspecifically addressed differently. o All live trees cut at surface elevation shall be chemically treated to prohibit future growth. o Extra care shall be utilized in protecting private property access points. o Low ground pressure equipment shall be utilized to minimize ground disturbance. 8 downed large logs to remove from site (5'-7' long) 1341 SF of Brush to remove from site Prospective contractors shall give a lump sum quote amount for all labor and costs to remove and dispose of trees and junk/debris. Prospective bidders shall also give a per hour rate for labor and equipment for any added additional work. Work is expected to take place between December 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025. Carroll County will review all submitted proposals. All firms submitting proposals will be informed of the County's decision.
