Question Deadline 11/18/2024 at 3:00 PM CT Questions must be submitted in writing to the Library by email to lbartnik@northlakelibrary.org o Replacement of one 40-ton York rooftop unit (serves 2nd floor) o Replacement of one 60-ton York rooftop unit (serves 1st floor) o Replacement of three (3) ductless split systems serving dedicated spaces o All work to be performed during normal working hours that are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm excluding holidays unless otherwise specified within this proposal. Work required beyond normal working hours will incur a premium time labor charge unless other provisions have been agreed upon. o Any work found necessary other than what is outlined and approved within this proposal will be completed on a time and material or quoted basis and invoiced accordingly. o Permits and permit drawings are not included. o All applicable sales tax has been excluded, proof of tax exemption will be provided with signed contract. The proposed scope of work includes the following Provide all necessary stamped engineering drawings for HVAC and controls work. Secure all necessary permits required by the City of Northlake. Provide all necessary Project and Construction Management and coordinate all site activities associated with the project. Provide off-site storage of equipment with a maximum storage time of six months. Provide floor protection for staging and hallway work areas. Areas used for staging to store and prep new equipment prior to installation will be coordinated with the district prior to the start of construction. Provide off-site disposal for demolished HVAC equipment. Provide necessary technical check-out, factory start-up, commissioning and testing of new equipment to ensure proper operation. Provide project close-out paperwork including warranty letters, as-built drawings and Operations and Maintenance manuals on all new equipment. Provide removal and reinstallation of ceilings as required for associated piping, sheet metal and electrical work. Ceiling tile damaged during construction will be replaced. The new ceiling tile will conform to the district standard. Equipment selections to be submitted to the library prior to equipment and material order. Existing HVAC equipment not listed below will remain and be reused. Existing fire alarm, life safety, AV, IT, and sprinkler systems will remain. Modifications, upgrades, or replacement of existing fire alarm, life safety, AV, IT, and sprinkler systems is not included in scope.
