The proposed work involves reconstruction and construction of approximately 1,200 linear feet of sidewalk from south of Lincoln Ave. to Curry Ave on the west side of Spurlock St as well as from Spurlock St to Jefferson St on the south side of Garfield. The project will consist of curb and gutter, sidewalk, sidewalk ramps, street crossings, driveway approaches, seeding, erosion and traffic control. All equipment, material, and workmanship must be in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents on file with the City of Ava. Proposals must be on forms provided. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 4% with no trainees.
