Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ava, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed work involves reconstruction and construction of approximately 1,200 linear feet of sidewalk from south of Lincoln Ave. to Curry Ave on the west side of Spurlock St as well as from Spurlock St to Jefferson St on the south side of Garfield. The project will consist of curb and gutter, sidewalk, sidewalk ramps, street crossings, driveway approaches, seeding, erosion and traffic control. All equipment, material, and workmanship must be in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents on file with the City of Ava. Proposals must be on forms provided. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 4% with no trainees. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: If the bid is accepted, the bidder agrees that work shall be diligently (3) prosecuted at such rate and in such manner as, in the judgment of the engineer, is necessary for the completion of the work within the time specified as follows in accordance with Sec 108: Calendar Days: 60 Completion Date: December 7, 2025 LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: The bidder agrees that, should the bidder fail to complete the work in the time specified or such additional time as may be allowed by the engineer under the contract, the amount of liquidated damages to be recovered in accordance with Sec 108 shall be as follows: Question Deadline 06/05/2025 The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening
