The New Trier Township High School District 203 Board of Education is accepting bids from only certified Avigilon contractors for a camera replacement project at their two high school campuses in Northfield and Winnetka Illinois. The general scope of work includes the removal of existing cameras and installation of new Avigilon cameras at their two campuses. The scope of work includes providing all labor (unless noted otherwise), materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of installation necessary for the completion of work indicated in the Bid Documents including, but not limited to, the following: selective removal, and low voltage wiring modifications. The work sites are New Trier Township High School, Northfield Campus, 7 Happ Road, Northfield, IL 60093 and New Trier High School, Winnetka Campus, 385 Winnetka Avenue, Winnetka, IL 60093. The on-site construction is scheduled to commence after award of contract and will be performed during the school year with a Substantial Completion date of Friday, March 28, 2025. Additional schedule requirements will be included in the Bid Documents. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded by the Board of Education the Week of December 9th, 2024, pending board approval. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and labor and material payment bonds in the full amount of the final subcontract Contract Sum. An AIA Contractor's Qualification Statement must be submitted with the bid. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Contractor will be required to submit electronic copies of their certified payrolls with each application for payment using the Illinois Department of Labor's Prevailing Wage Portal. The New Trier Township High School District 203 Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, reject nonconforming bids, reject conditional bids, waive irregularities in the bidding procedures, or to accept any bid that, in its sole opinion, best serves the interests of the School District.
