General Requirements - Insurance Required The Cobb County Water System intends to select a consulting firm to provide professional services for the design and engineering of upgrades to the ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems at the Noonday Creek, Northwest Cobb, and R.L. Sutton Water Reclamation Facilities (WRFs). The scope of the services will include data collection, preliminary and detailed designs, preparation of permit and bid documents, and assistance during bidding. Each proposal will consist of a narrative proposal of technical services and separate sealed proposal for the cost of services. It is anticipated that a contract for the described services will be entered into the firm that, in the opinion of Cobb County, offers the most favorable combination of qualifications, approach, and pricing. Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all proposals, to evaluate proposals, and to accept any proposals which in its opinion may be for the best interest of Owner. Owner has the right to add to and delete from the agreement once it has been awarded. The successful consulting firm for this agreement will be required to furnish satisfactory certificates of insurance for general liability, automobile liability, professional liability, and worker's compensation and employers' liability coverage.
