Contract Id MK00116 WBS: TBD Location: Alleghany And Ashe County Primary And Secondary Routes County: Alleghany, Ashe Description: ID/IQ Emergency Asphalt Roadway Repair To Restore Essential Traffic This is an Emergency Response contract and as such, the Department has determined that it is not feasible nor in the publics interest to comply with statutory bidding requirements in obtaining equipment and/or contractors for assistance in our cleanup efforts. This is being done pursuant to the authority granted by G.S. 136-28.1 (e). As a result, the following changes apply to this contract: Any firm that wishes to bid as a prime contractor shall be prequalified with NCDOT as a Bidder or PO Prime Contractor or have the ability to become prequalified for the work being performed within 14 days of receipt of the contract. The period covered by this contract will be from October 11, 2024 until May 31, 2025.
