The Town of Prosper ("Town") is accepting proposals for a Wireless Outdoor Sound System. Question Deadline 11/01/2024 at 12:00 PM CT All questions should be emailed to purchasing@prospertx.gov. Receipt of responses does not bind the Town to any contract for said products or services, nor does it give any guarantee that a contract for the RFP will be awarded. Scope: The Town of Prosper is seeking a vendor to supply and install a wireless outdoor sound system in a portion of Downtown Prosper. The location of a master station is known (Prosper Town Hall located at 250 W. First Street, Prosper, TX), but the locations of the wireless speakers are to be selected and designed by the vendor within the RFP. The system will be used to play live or recorded music, messages, and public safety announcements daily and during downtown events. Installation and Training o The selected vendor shall install and configure all the hardware and software. The Town will be responsible for the network through the Town's IT Department by providing a connection and routing. o The selected vendor will provide end user training for up to ten (10) Town employees. Support and Maintenance o First year maintenance will be included as a warranty. o Provide pricing for five (5) years of maintenance. o Maintenance cost will include all software patches and system upgrades.
