Description

Renovation of a detention facility in Lima, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

2338 N West St, Lima, OH 45801-2051, Allen County AOCI Oakwood HVAC Upgrades Replace six (6) rooftop air handling units (RTUs) in the north, south, east, and west wings with units scheduled on drawings. Reconnect gas connection to the replaced units. Replace existing HVAC pneumatic controls for new rooftop units, vav boxes, and combination fire/smoke dampers with electric/electronic controls. Install new gas water heaters and associated pumps. Decommission existing hot water boilers at the powerhouse. Installation of four (4) instantaneous water heaters in the powerhouse. Air balancing and commissioning. Contract Estimated Cost Base Bid : $ 2,251,768 Alternate 1-A $ 157,653 Alternate 1-B $ 272,162 Alternate 2 - $ 29,649 Alternate 3 - $ 32,200 EDGE Participation Goal: 5.0% of contract Domestic steel use is required per ORC 153.011. The time for Substantial Completion of all Work is 270 consecutive days from the Commencement Date in the Notice to Proceed. Pre-bid Meeting: Notes: Visitors must notify the A/E 48 hours ahead of the pre-bid meeting of names of those attending in order to receive gate passes. All in attendance shall present a valid State Identification photo ID to be allowed into the institution. No cameras and no tools are permitted inside the facility.
