Renovation of an educational facility in Huntsville, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 56,698-square-foot educational facility.
The scope of this project includes the replacement of cast iron piping, new roof, and upgrades to the interior finishes. The electrical one - line is not included in the scope of this project. The full scope for roof areas C and D will be issued in the 100% CD's and the awarded contractor will be issued a change order for the scope of those areas. Please provide a lump sum quote for all work packages you desire to bid (Including Sales Tax on the material & 3rd Party Rentals). Late subcontractor quotes submitted MAY NOT be used in our bid to the client, which would preclude our using these bids when the project is awarded. Please do your best to ensure all quotes are submitted prior to the above deadline. Questions regarding the HSP and/or to review the HSP as a courtesy PRIOR to the RFP closing date and time as shown on page one of this document can be directed to the University's HUB Coordinator, Cynthia Guajardo, at (936) 294-1991 or shsuhub@shsu.edu. The acronym TBD (to be determined) will no longer be accepted in the column marked Approximate Dollar Amount As of October 22, 2024, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released.
