Deadline for Questions 06-Nov-2024 16:00:00 The work for which proposals are invited consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, transportation, materials, and services for this Term Agreement in areas of the City of Chicago south of Madison Street to north of 71st Street (Central South Region) and from the Eastern City limits to the Western City limits1. This includes but is not limited to performing all work for the restoration of streets and parkways including all required excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling and compaction of excavations, removal and construction of ADA sidewalk ramps per CDOT requirements, restoration of pavements, curbs, walkways, landscaped areas; maintenance of traffic; and removal of all construction debris as described in the Detailed Specifications2, including all appurtenant work and accessories, all in accordance with the Contract Documents3 to the complete satisfaction of, approval and acceptance by the City for restoration after replacement and construction of water mains and sewer mains by Department forces. Restoration projects will span over a length greater than two hundred (200) linear feet. If the span of a project is two hundred (200) linear feet or less, it will be assigned to the Repair contract covering the region. Locations of the streets and parkways to be restored will be determined by the schedules of the Department forces in constructing water mains and sewer mains.
