Frederick County Parks and Recreation is seeking a qualified contractor to add parking spaces to the Rose Hill Park parking area and pave the entire parking lot.. Specifications: o Paving of existing parking area w/ 2" surface course asphalt (SM-9.5A). o Addition of 36 parking spaces as shown in the attached diagram. o 34 of the 36 additional parking spaces will require excavation and installation of 6" subbase VDT STD GR-21B, and top coated with 2" surface course asphalt (SM-9.5A). o Removal of excavated spoils and vegetation from edges. o Removal of existing wheel stops o Milling of tie in joints at entrance and trailhead o Sweeping of area o Installation of a levelling layer of asphalt (SM-9.5AL) in depressed areas Separate Optional Items to list: o Providing and installing of 64 concrete wheel stops o Painting parking area lines / handicap markings Work to be completed by December 1, 2024.
