As of December 17, 2024 this project was awarded to Kenmore Construction in the amount of $4,761,352.10 Freedom Trail - Phase 4 located at in Akron, Ohio, The Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. Only ODOT Pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction project. Note that this project has an 8% DBE Goal. All Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site prior to bid submission; no formal pre-bid meeting will be held. Questions shall be submitted via email, attention Travis Saunier, PE (tsaunier@summitmetroparks.org). Prevailing Wage rate requirements are applicable to this Project. Bidders are encouraged to be enrolled in and to be in good standing in a Drug Free Safety Program ("DFSP") approved by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation ("OBWC") prior to submitting a Bid and provide certain information relative to their enrollment in such a program if requested by Summit Metro Parks.
