This is an all-inclusive Door Maintenance and Repair requirement. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the maintenance, inspection, and repair of all Automatic Doors as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) except for those items specified as Government Furnished Property and services. The Contractor shall ensure continuous and safe operation of all automatic doors listed on the Automatic Door List Appendix C and provide the maintenance and repair services specified in the PWS including future additions of doors (as required) and in accordance with (IAW) current ANSI 156.10, American National Standard for Power Operated Doors, ANSI/BHMA A156.4-2019 Door Controls-Closers, ANSI/BHMA A156.8-2021, NFPA 80, NFPA 105 Door Controls - Overhead Stops and Holders inclusive of fire doors, ANSI/BHMA A156.38-2019 Standards for Low Energy Power Operated Sliding and Folding Doors. The contractor shall not perform inherently governmental functions as defined in FAR Subpart 7.5 in relationship to this PWS. The contractor assumes all responsibility to complete work as specified in this PWS and thereby shall perform all inspections of Automatic Doors listed Appendix C. The services to be provided by the Contractor under this agreement shall consist of furnishing all parts, labor, and transportation to provide preventative maintenance on the automatic sliding and automatic swing doors at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center as well as Service Calls for routine repair of doors and Emergency Service Calls for urgent repairs. Excluded services are listed in paragraph 1.6 below.
