Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Wilmore, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Project Locations: 400 & 402 East Main Street Wilmore, KY 40390 This project is the second phase of the restoration efforts that the City of Wilmore has made to restore the Granary Building. The previous stabilization efforts completed in 2020 included the removal and replacement of the existing roof over the three-story portion and the one-story northeastern portion of the building, the complete removal and reconstruction of the clerestory, and limited structural stabilization on the third floor. This second phase of work will be limited to stabilization and include: water mitigation in the basement comprising of new floor sloped to new sump pumps, limited structural stabilization in the basement, second floor, and exterior facade, providing temporary coverings at windows, and minor electrical improvements. This project is federal grant funded and has been reviewed by the Kentucky Heritage Council (the State Historic Preservation Office). Advanced approval must be given for deviations in the materials and methods shown in the contract documents. All contractors must treat every part of the existing building as significant and valuable regardless of its appearance or condition. Damage or destruction of the existing building or its contents outside of the scope of work will not be tolerated. Granary Building at 400 & 402 East Main Street, Wilmore, Kentucky 40390 The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit their bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. Doc Notes: Bidding documents may be viewed and ordered online by registering with Lynn Imaging and clicking on the Enter Planroom. Prospective Bidders may examine the documents at Lynn Imaging on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. Bidding Documents also may be examined between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm (M - F) at the following locations: Wilmore City Hall, 210 S Lexington Ave, Wilmore, KY 40390, and Stewart Architecture, PLLC, 120 Kentucky Ave, Suite 210, Lexington, KY 40502. Digital download or printed hard copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from Lynn Imaging upon payment of a non-refundable service charge as set by Lynn Imaging. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Lynn Imaging". Upon request and receipt of the nonrefundable payment indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, Lynn Imaging will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by Lynn Imaging will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available. Questions deadline: 11/5/24 at 5:00 PM Addendum #1-#3 have been issued as of 11-8-2024.
