Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Truro, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The intent of this Bid Call is to obtain a quotation for work associated with the initial phase of the slope remediation work which will include the tender and construction phase for scaling operations related to the rock slope that experienced the recent rockfall. Scaling will be carried out to remove remaining loose debris from the slope to mitigate the potential for further rockfall. The work will also include debris removal off site and installation of a concrete barrier at the slope toe to retain potential future falling debris in the catchment area and associated site works located in Victoria Park in Truro, Nova Scotia, in accordance with Contract Documents as prepared by Stantec (the Consultant) and the Town of Truro Department of Engineering & Public Works.
