Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Amherst, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Amherst is interested in receiving quotes for the installation of concrete curb and gutter on Marshview Drive Extension. The work to be completed under this Contract will include the installation of new, extruded, mountable concrete curb and gutter. The Contractor will be responsible to establish control points and set grades for the new curb. The new curb is to be placed at the coordinates and elevations as shown on the Marshview Drive Extension, Issued for Construction drawings (Phase 1) dated August 15, 2024. MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT Mountable Curb (Concrete) - Unit of measurement: linear meter (m) - Method of measurement: along top face of curb. - This item includes placement and compaction of Type I gravel base, as needed, to ensure proper grade, installation and finishing of extruded concrete curb, including any necessary handwork and cutting of existing curb on Marshview Drive, placing and compacting of backfill, and reinstatement of all disturbed areas.
