Site work for a water / sewer project in Wakeman, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Install a new tri-plex pump station to include above grade piping/valves, along with new control panels and telemetry, housed in a building enclosure and a permanent standby natural gas generator. Stie work will include a 270’ extension of 12” gravity sewer from the existing pump station to the new pump station, relocation and reconnection of the existing 4” sanitary sewAll questions must be submitted in writing. Questions submitted after 5:00 PM local time on Friday, January 17th will not be answered. The Project includes the following Work: Install a new tri-plex pump station to include above grade piping/valves, along with new control panels and telemetry, housed in a building enclosure and a permanent standby natural gas generator. Stie work will include a 270 extension of 12 gravity sewer from the existing pump station to the new pump station, relocation and reconnection of the existing 4 sanitary sewer force main (65 ), and installation of a short service drive to access the new pump station. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of The Village of Wakeman in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. The Village of Wakeman reserves the right pursuant to ORC.9.312 to reject any and all bids and to waive any non-material irregularity in determining the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The successful bidder will be required to pay Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Notice to proceed for this project is expected to be issued in early March 2025.
