Renovation of a residential development in Lake George, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

**As of January 9 , 2025 the project has not been awarded and a timeline for the award is not yet established.** OPWDD's Capital District DDSO is looking to obtain quotes to replace a roof per the attached scope of work. The Capital District DDSO is seeking bids/quotes for the above referenced project (see attached specifications). The purpose of asking questions during the site visit is to obtain clarification regarding the enclosed Project Scope. In the event that modifications are needed to the Project Scope, the modifications will be distributed by the CAPITAL DISTRICT DDSO Business Office to all contractors as an ADDENDA. Contractors are to prepare and submit their quotes based on the written Project Scope and any modifications made in writing through the ADDENDA. QUESTIONS DEADLINE DATE: 11/07/2024 QUESTIONS DEADLINE TIME: 2:30 PM Prevailing Wages and Certified Payroll: NYS Labor Law requires that all contracted employees preforming maintenance, repairs or capital improvements in state owned buildings receive the prevailing wage and supplements rate for the occupation in which they are working. If this is a public work contract covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law or building service contract covered by Article 9 thereof, neither Contractor's employees nor employees of its subcontractors may be required or permitted to work more than the number of hours or days stated in said statutes, except as otherwise provided in the Labor Law as set forth in prevailing wage and supplement schedules issued by the State Labor Department. Certified payroll record MUST be submitted at the time of invoicing. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove the existing roofing system complete down to the existing wood decking, including snow slides. Any damaged decking will be quoted and result in a change order. 2. Remove and replace exhaust vent covers as per existing, typical. Exhaust vents must be installed to go above the roof line per code requirements. 3. Remove and replace drip edge at all eaves and gables, typical. 4. Flash all penetrations, typical. 5. Remove and replace ridge vents on all ridges, typical. Verify soffits are continuous vented along eave line everywhere. Venting is required for roof systems over conditioned spaces. 6. Remove and replace chimney flashing. 7. Provide and install a new 30-year asphalt shingle roofing system complete, including all flashings, underlayment's, ice barriers, venting, accessories, and other roofing materials as required for a complete system. 8. No asbestos-containing materials may be used
