Renovation of a residential development in Lake George, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,200-square-foot residential development.
CR#: 2134622 The RFQ for this project was originally held on 11/20/2024. Due to administrative reasons, we are reattempting to solicit this project. OPWDD's Capital District DDSO intends to procure a roof replacement (per the attached scope of work) pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority. REMINDERS: This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid. Vendors / sub-contractors must be registered with NYS DOL in order to submit a quote. A copy of the certificate must be sent to us with your quote (see guidelines in the documents tab.) Any questions or requests for clarification regarding the information provided may be directed to Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov QUESTIONS DEADLINE DATE: 05/15/2026 QUESTIONS DEADLINE TIME: 2:30PM Ad type: Discretionary procurements less than $50,000 DESCRIPTION: Roof Replacement Project. Approximately 3,200 Square feet. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 60 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project, and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of the roof replacement, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove the existing roofing system complete down to the existing wood decking, including snow slides. Any damaged decking will be quoted and result in a change order. 2. Remove and replace exhaust vent covers as per existing, typical. Exhaust vents must be installed to go above the roof line per code requirements. 3. Remove and replace drip edge at all eaves and gables, typical. 4. Flash all penetrations, typical. 5. Remove and replace ridge vents on all ridges, typical. Verify soffits are continuous vented along eave line everywhere. Venting is required for roof systems over conditioned spaces. 6. Remove and replace chimney flashing. 7. Provide and install a new 30-year asphalt shingle roofing system complete, including all flashings, underlayment’s, ice barriers, venting, accessories, and other roofing materials as required for a complete system. 8. No asbestos-containing materials may be used.
