Renovation of a water / sewer project in Springfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The proposed project consists of the removal of two existing 300 hp pumps and installation of two new 450hp pumps furnished by CWLP. The work includes all labor, transportation, shipping, coordination, equipment, tools, materials, electric service, electrical work, upgrades, modifications, improvements, grounding, site work, verification of existing facilities, labeling, programming, safety procedures, and associated incidentals to provide a complete and properly operating system at the CWLP South Fork pump station, as detailed herein and in accordance with the applicable City, Water, Light & Power requirements. An alternate bid item includes the removal of the existing 750kva, 67,000vac primary, 4160y/2400 vac secondary transformer at the CWLP Lake Park substation and replacing it with a new 1,000kva, 69,000vac primary, 4160y/2400vac secondary transformer. Bid security in the form of a certified check or cashier's check payable to the City of Springfield, or a satisfactory bid bond, in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the total bid.
