Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,200-square-foot, two-story above grade fitness / recreation center; 2,700-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.

The project consists of the construction of two unique parks buildings and associated landform landscaping undertaken in coordination with adjacent works performed separately by TRCA. This Request for Supplier Qualifications ("RFSQ") is an invitation by the City of Toronto ("the City") to prospective Respondents to qualify up to eight (8) experienced General Contractors with a documented history of providing quality construction of Net Zero Energy and Emissions buildings for future eligibility to bid on the upcoming Humber Bay Park East Master Plan Phase 1 Implementation Buildings Project to be built by the City of Toronto Parks Forestry & Recreation Division, as further described in Part 5, Section 2 - Deliverables. Major components of this project (the "Building Project") include the following: - The Recreational Building (approx. 576 sm /6,200 sf) includes 10 gender neutral washrooms, a small office, 2 multipurpose rooms, mechanical room, a lobby space and a second storey element to incorporate an emergency exit stair. - The Facilities Building (approx. 250 sm /2,700 sf) includes a heated staff area including an open work area, 2 washrooms and a kitchenette, 3 unheated storage units, an unheated garage to store service vehicles and a covered, unheated secure service yard for maintenance and repairs of park equipment.
