The Highway Commissioner reserves the right to reject any, or all, bids and to waive technicalities. SCOPE OF WORK DESCRIPTION OF IMPROVEMENTS/ITEMS TO BE FURNISHED Work includes but not limited to the installation of a 3' exposed concrete wall and applicable spread footing for a 24'x 24'x18' metal clad building with an isolated 10" concrete floor. The metal clad building will post and beam construction, with hi-rib steel sheeting. A 16'x16' overhead door and a 3'x7' man door shall be furnished into the foundation wall for access into the building along with 3-3'x5' fixed insulated windows to view the tank farm. The building shall be wall and attic insulated and provided with electricity. A 10" concrete pad shall be included and attached to the building to support a 26'x 40' tank farm. A containment wall shall be a 3' concrete wall poured on top of the tank farm pad with a sealant installed at the joint. Included into the tank farm, shall be 6-5000-gallon cone bottom tanks with stands. Without having soil borings for the foundation walls, please include steel reinforcement details in the bid.
